Born in 1968, Anita Gratzer has been working with plants since her childhood, as she grew up surrended by nature in the Austrian prealps.
She is a highly decorated photo artist with a diploma from the University of Arts in Linz, and started her career with plants in 2007. Learning herself by trial and error she founded an experimental lab ‘Original – Organic Art’ in the formerly Tobacco Company in Linz in 2013.
Anita Gratzer focuses on the integration of plants and animals by conserving their beauty and contextualizing their origin and tradition. She values the existence of nature by converting the organic habitat into a form of art.
