We have been traveling to Onishi Japan regularly since 2015 and recently bought our own traditional house in town. Due to the pandemic situation, we had to postpone some of our restoration work. But with the spring of 2022, we will start to renovate the house and the studio. Friends and guests can also use one of our secluded studios across town. The reason for moving to Onishi was not only to integrate into the local community, but also the international residency programme “Shiro Oni Studio” which gathers up to 40 artists from Europe, America and Asia every year.
