2015 Exhibition Design

The main project this year was the development of the Austrian Pavilion at the World Expo in Milan 2015. Responsible for the scenography with my company argeMarie, I transformed the Austrian Pavilion into an “Air Power Plant”. Inside the building, visitors walked along winding paths through a real forest with 16 metre high trees, which exactly reproduced the climatic conditions of dense Austrian forests. In this 600 m> indoor forest, sound installations, fans and exhibits provided a sensory experience of the close relationship between man, the environment and the weather. The Austrian pavilion at Expo 2015 generated oxygen for 1,800 people per hour.

Second beloved project was the exhibition about the European origins of printmaking at the state library of Upper Austria.
